偶然機會看到瑪格麗特‧愛特伍的長篇《強盜新娘》相關資料。網路上有試讀本，約有13萬字。原本的書是552頁（中文版），猜這試讀本未完。

寫到13萬字依然未完。瑪格麗特的精力和才華真是驚人。她許多書都是大部頭，中文版都在三四百頁以上。

我還沒看試讀本。這禮拜該讀的書是達賴喇嘛的「開闊之路」。

給自己規定：沒讀完的書，不要在部落格裡談，或引用。至少，包括轉貼的文字，都必須是自己真正讀完的。

維基百科介紹她，列出她的書目，實在讓人欽佩讚嘆。我難以想像一個人是如何努力才達到這種「成績」的。不太知道是不是每一本都是精品，不過譯介過來的幾本，確實是有才華有努力，不是「FANS迷戀」水準。

我所謂「FANS迷戀」水準，指的是那些FANS完全不計良莠，「拿到籃裡就是菜」的崇拜情結。依我看，張愛玲其實許多作品就只有「FANS迷戀」水準。
